Our Team

John Latka

Founder and CEO

An expert with over 30 years of sales and management experience, John managed dealerships in major markets including; Hamilton, Toronto (GTA), Ottawa and Halifax (HRM). Every dealership managed by John saw dramatic increases in sales volume and profitability which lead him to founding Automotive Business Solutions to help others do the same. He’s described as a natural multi-tasker with an enthusiastic communication style that thinks outside of the box and sees the big picture when setting strategies.

Mobilizing people and resources while holding them accountable and assertively resolving issues is one of his many strengths.

With an uncanny ability to sell new ideas to your team, John can motivate them to achieve goals through his understanding of concerns and feelings surrounding change initiatives.

Rikki Higgins

Director of Sales

Rikki joined Automotive Business Solutions in April of 2016 as Director of Sales and as an integral part of the company she is responsible for new business development.

Her background includes over a decade of sales, management and leadership experience. Rikki was a top performing sales consultant at an automotive dealership prior to being promoted to sales manager. In that role she was instrumental in helping set new sales records utilizing the products and services of Automotive Business Solutions.

While on maternity leave she decided to resign her dealership position and joined the team at Automotive Business Solutions for the work-life balance that comes with her position.

Rikki is best described as calm and steady with a steadfast determination to succeed. She is proactive and authoritative yet has the patience and persistence to support the efforts of others in reaching their goals.

She is great at listening to the needs of our clients and using facts and figures, Rikki can make quick, solid decisions to ensure she delivers what was promised.
